This could also be a feminine name. I know this name is supposed to be masculine but you know a lot of traditional boy names had feminine usage in the past. Anthony does sound a little feminine, even more feminine than say Michael or Alexander. So maybe this name is unisex. I still prefer it slightly more on a boy because it’s traditionally a boy's name, but for a girl it’s not so bad! Personally I’d name a girl Anthony before I name a girl Michael!
Conclusion
Anthony is a timeless name that has stood the test of time. Its rich meaning, emotional depth, positive symbolism, and association with notable individuals make it a truly compelling choice for individuals seeking a name that reflects their aspirations and embodies the best of human qualities.

I really like this name, but it's so common that I feel it's gotten boring. Shame, because it's so beautiful and strong-sounding.

Much better than the nickname Tony. It makes me think of a teenager who's good at dancing LOL.
