1) Mieczysław Boruta-Spiechowicz (1894–1985) was a Polish general of the Polish Army and a notable member of the post-war anti-communist opposition in Poland.

2) Mečislovas Reinys (1884–1953) was the Lithuanian Roman Catholic bishop, a professor at Vytautas Magnus University, a Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, and a social activist who publicly condemned racism and national hatred.
