So pretty. I did think that the name was Greek when I first saw it and is even similar to Greek names meaning violet (Ione, Iolanthe etc).

I read that there is a Greek stem in this name: iola, which connotes with violet. I think of it as Hawaiian and Greek, which is pretty awesome in my opinion!
