Seweryn Antonowicz Kłosowski (14 December 1865 - 7 April 1903), better known as George Chapman, was a Polish serial killer who murdered three of his four wives via tartar-emetic poisoning in the Hastings region of Sussex, England from 1897 to 1902. However, he was best known for being a prime suspect in the Jack the Ripper murders of 1888.
For the murders he was convicted of, he earned the nicknamethe Borough Poisoner.'
He was hanged in Wandsworth Prison on 7 April 1903.
