My name is Kyra and is pronounced like Key-ruh (hence my username) and I find it extremely unacceptable when people tell ME that my name is pronounced incorrectly. Take it up with my parents?! Also Kyra Sedgwick pronounces it the same and she’s hot and rich soooo.

Pronouncing Kyra as KEE-ra makes absolutely no sense to me personally. No one would pronounce Kyla as KEE-la or Kya as KEE-ah.
There is no English word in which "ky" sounds like "kee" except for "kyrie" which comes from a Greek word and doesn't share its origins with Kyra.
Conclusion
Kyra is a name that exudes elegance, confidence, and a radiant spirit. It is a timeless choice that embodies both strength and warmth.

A beautiful name, in my opinion, pronounced kee-ra. I believe this name is Latin, Kyrie is Latin for lord and Kyra is probably Latin for lady. This name has served many well, including me, and although the pronunciation is frustrating to both sides, I firmly believe the spelling is the most elegant of all kee-ras.

This name was rated similarly to my own name. Kyra, pronounced "kai-ra" is the best pronunciation because it uses the same vowel of Cyrus, which it is related to. The meaning and spelling is cool as well.
The_menace
Definitely like it the best pronounced Keer-uh.
