I thought that this was a variant of Devon, not Devin. Surely it would be pronounced the same way as Devon, or even dev-ann? I think it's kind of cute for a girl. Devon seems more masculine.

Unfortunately, I know a girl with this name. I don't understand why every name ending in the -in/-on sound is believed to be acceptable for girls, its not. Devin/Devon/Devan/whatever "creative" spelling people make up is not a girl name. I honestly don't think it's a very mature sounding boy name in the first place, but on girls.. No!
