This name probably owes its existence to the joke about the man who had fraternal twins, one a girl and one a boy. He named them "Denise" and "Denephew." Ouch!

I heard the joke as "A pregnant woman was in a coma when the doctors delivered the babies. Since she wasnt awake to name them, her brother named them for her. When the woman woke up, the doctor told her she had twins, and the brother named them. Afraid of what they were name, the lady asked their namesDenisethe doctor began.Oh, Denise, thats a lovely name!the woman said.and Denephewthe doctor continued."

What's next, "Denephew"? This spelling was probably an accident, or a joke. It's a nice name, but spell it properly. D-E-N-I-S-E.
