I am VERY surprised to see this name labeled as solely feminine according to this page. Cedar to me is very boyish and masculine and is MUCH more suitable on a male. The name to me belongs to a male.

Like the first commenter, I also watched Ever After High and learned of Cedar being a girl's name from Pinocchio's daughter, Cedar Wood. That's where I fell in love with it! I really want to use it for a future daughter! I can also see it on a boy but I really love where the world is going with all the uniqueness, creativity and freedom and Cedar for a girl is right there. I love it WAY more for a girl than on a boy!
