Saint Gurias, Archbishop of Kazan (Russian: Guriy, secular name Grigory Grigorievich Rougotin), died the 5 of December of 1563, was the first archbishop of the Kazan diocese, established in 1555. He was born in the town of Radonezh outside Moscow into the family of a courtier.
